“Dancing On Amber Leaves” takes inspiration from a style of lo-fi called chill hop and was originally composed for my friend, Jessica Payne. The narrative of the piece follows two people meeting for the first time on a random autumn day and gradually becoming closer over time. Each part feels tentative at the beginning and throughout the piece, the two players become more comfortable with eachother until they eventually become close friends.
